D2’S EXCEPTIONAL EMR RATING: A MEASURE OF TRUST

Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is more than just a number—it reflects our culture of vigilance, training, and proactive risk management. We maintain an EMR well below industry average, underscoring our ability to complete projects without incident. A low EMR translates to reduced risk for clients and partners, showcasing our reliability and professionalism.

Trench safety: precision, planning, & protection

Underground work brings unique hazards. That’s why trench safety is non-negotiable. Every excavation is planned and executed with OSHA-compliant protections, including benching, shoring, and shielding systems. Our crews are trained to assess soil types, identify risk factors, and use proper protective systems for every trench. We don’t take shortcuts—because in trench work, the cost of doing so is too high.

safety certifications: BUILT ON EXPERTISE

Every field team member undergoes regular safety training, including OSHA 10/30, trench and confined space entry, utility locates, and equipment operation. Foremen and supervisors hold competent person certifications, and all crews receive job-specific toolbox talks before work begins. We invest in ongoing development because safety isn’t a one-time course—it’s a constant learning process.
